I've bought at least 5 sets of these boots over the last few years! I've tried lot of different brands and these are the best! I'm a little disappointed that Ultra Paws made the Velcro strip wider in the last few years , they still work well, but just don't seem as comfortable for my pup.
Thanks for making such a good product! Unknown

Ordered these for my 13-year-old doberman who has a sore on his toe. They've helped his sore heal because they're so soft on the upper side and the velcro closure makes the boot stay on his paw so he can't lick it and neither can his baby brother and sister. I also love the traction part. He doesn't slip and slide and hurt himself. I ordered another set because of the high quality. (They also wash beautifully.)Merry Hritsuk

Need some changes
I had these boots for a month. After 2 weeks of wear the stitching on the pads needed to be restitched. Also if these had the same 2 strap velcro closures as the durable dog boots they would be a much better product. With one strap, they turn so the traction pad is either on the side or top of foot. The top of the boot will also slip underneath the velcro strap. Good product. Could use some improvements. Sizing is not the problem as they fit perfectly. Marci LaRocque

My poor 2.5 year golden retriever has been sliding and scared to walk on my hard wood floors with greater and greater frequency, especially on the stairs. I got him these socks hoping to at the very least save my floors, but also in the hopes to make him more sure footed. They work! Tumnus can now alk up and down the stairs with ease. He is a good boy, so after a few times of telling him, "no" when he would bite at the socks, he now leaves them alone. They do not seem to bother him, they are easy to put on and take off, and the fit was reliable. Lydia Anderson

These boots work real well for our 55 lb. Pointer mix. She is 14 years old and arthritis has made it hard for her to get down and up from the floor. The boots have given her back some traction that makes it easier for her. They are very well constructed including a pad at the back of the boot on the inside to cushion and help the Velcro to fasten securely.(i am making an assumption on its function.) The first time I ordered these they were too big. Her paw measurement was in between the listed parameters and I went with the next size up rather than down. Customer Service offered to take them back and send me the next smaller size. II really appreciate their helpfulness. Dianne Warrington

Good slip on boot
This boot isn't long lasting but it is comfortable, easy to put on, doesn't come off, no worries about catching the dew claws and has decent traction for a soft boot. Absolutely the best soft boot.Unknown

Didn't not stay on.
I've been using ultra paws products for years, I tried the traction boots in hopes of finding a little cheaper boot along with a boot that is less time consuming taking on and off.
The boots just don't stay on, they only have one Velcro strap and a raised pad in the back that is too thick and makes the strap go around it.
Maybe they would stay on better if I had gone one size up, but I didn't try the larger size.
I sent them back and hopefully they will give me a refund.
ULTRA PAWS RESPONSE: THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING US WITH A REVIEW. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TRACTION BOOTS ARE TOO SMALL. ISSUES LIKE THE ONE YOU DESCRIBE, ALMOST ALWAYS INDICATES A SIZE ISSUE. PLEASE CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ASSISTANCE AT 800-355-5575.Unknown

Keeps my old lab from falling on the hardwood floors
We have several pairs of Ultrapaws for helping our 12yo lab with bad hips navigate our hardwood floors. I like these because they are lighter weight than some of the other ones we have. The velcro and the foam pad really keep them in place.Brian

I recommend the Ultra Paws Traction Dog Bootie
We have a 15 year old chow chow that could not stand up on our wood floors without dangerously slipping and sliding. The Ultra Paws Traction Bootie keeps her from slipping. The booties are light and easy for her to walk in. One or two tend to come off when she sleeps. A couple times a day, she manages to twist the booties around so the felt is on the bottom and the traction cloth is on the top. I turn them around and re-tighten the valcro strap and make sure it is under the pad on the back of the bootie. We have only had them for a week so I cannot comment on durability. The sizing chart was correct.Unknown

I was real careful to measure my dog's paws and order the correlating size. The medium have proved to be too large and will not stay on my dog's paws. She is a 55 lb. Pointer mix and her paws measured 2.5" and I was concerned the small would be too tight.
Otherwise, the construction of the traction boots is very good. I just wish she could wear them as her arthritis makes laying down painful and she slips so easily on our floor. Dianne Warrington
