Finally, a pair of boots that work for huge dogs. We have an English Mastiff and it is very hard to find anything that works for him. Our Mastiff does not seem to mind wearing them at all. It provides him with the traction he needs on our hardwood floors and also does a great job of protecting the floors. We are on our 3rd pair of boots, the first 2 pairs lasted about a year each, which is pretty amazing for a Mastiff.mike

I was so anxious to get these. We already had the Ultra Paws Durable Dog Boots and they work great, but my older dog only needs them for traction on our tile floors and those didn't allow her feet to breathe, so I ordered Traction Dog Boots because they're breathable. I've been really disappointed with them though. They constantly turn on her feet, which only makes her slip and slide worse and, they won't stay on her feet. As I have no trouble getting the Durable Boots to stay on her, I'm sure that I am putting them on properly, they simply won't stay on or stay in place.
ULTRA PAWS RESPONSE: THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING US WITH A REVIEW. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TRACTION BOOTS ARE TOO BIG. IF THE BOOTS ARE TURNING, IT ALMOST ALWAYS INDICATES A SIZE ISSUE. THE TRACTION BOOTS HAVE A LITTLE STRETCH TO THEM. ON OCCASION, WE FIND THAT A DOG WILL NEED A SMALLER SIZE IN TRACTION THAN THEY DO IN THE DURABLE OR RUGGED. I recently got these for my aging Akita and a pug, they've been slipping on the snow that doesn't seem to melt on the north side of my house (in CO). On the Akita in less than the time it took to get all 4 on her and out the door she had 3 of the 4 off, and 2 of them are somewhere in the snow. I'll find them come spring i guess and try them again. The pug took them off as soon as we got back inside while I was helping the akita in the door. She's worn them a couple of times but escapes them as easily as the akita. (albeit indoors)
They seem to be made ok, about the right sizing (for the paw) if you measure your dog first. Your dog if not used to wearing shoes (socks?) they will walk funny for a bit, but get back to normal quickly.
I'm not sure after putting them on a couple of times that there is a solution to keeping them on your dog. The straps are snug, but I think your pet just has to be a willing participant.
ULTRA PAWS RESPONSE: THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO REVIEW OUR PRODUCTS. IF YOUR TRACTION BOOTS ARE COMING OFF THAT EASY, I THINK YOU MAY WANT TO TRY A SMALLER SIZE. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND EITHER THE DURABLE OR RUGGED BOOTS FOR OUTSIDE. IN ANY OF THE BOOT DESCRIPTIONS THERE IS A LINK CALLED "DETERMINE THE BEST STYLE OF BOOT FOR YOUR SITUATION". I RECOMMEND LOOKING AT THE CHART. IT COMPARES ALL OF OUR BOOTS SIDE BY SIDE ALONG WITH RECOMMENDED USES. Serves it's Purpose
I have an old english bully that's about 95 lbs so be mindful of my comments. This is a good product and my dog wears them every day. The traction rubber could be more durable as I have to replace them about every 3-4 months because the wear & tear beats them up pretty good.
They stay on very well too. The straps also do not have a plastic clip so it's one of the few products that doesn't hurt your dog's feet. Overall a good product - I will continue to buy more.bryan

Finally found the best boots!
After trying about a dozen different boots from different stores, I finally found the perfect boots from Ultra Paws for our Canadian winter! I have a Coton de Tulear and she loves walking in them, and I love the fact they stay on! I will be ordering another pair to have as a back up and have recommended them to family and friends with dogs looking for the perfect boots. Online ordering was easy and I received them quickly!Unknown

Misjudged the size fo the boot for our little Lhasa Apso but once the correct size was received, we think it is the best boot ever. Even though the ankle area of our dogs foot is smaill we could not go any smaller on the size, but the adjustable velco wlll work very well. We purchase again from Ultra Paws when needed.Unknown

These boots helped my old guy out so much! He was having a hard time getting traction on the hard floors in the house and would try to flex his paws to get grip, which only made things worse. He now moves around much easier and is very happy. He loves having his boots on and definitely seems to know that the boots help him. Unknown

Wonder Dog has 4 wheel drive on slippery floors!!!
Hi Ultra Paws, our dog wears her boots in the house to help her get around on our wooden floors and to prevent her nails from marring the soft wood floors. We thought initially she would try to remove them but she doesn't mind them and they do what we were hoping for ...everyone is happy. ThanksBrian Field
