Don't hold up
I was very happy with these boots the first two times I used them. My dog wasn't so sure at first but she quickly adjusted and they seem great. Until I noticed holes in them after only two walks!
I didn't use them excessively or on any extremely long walks. I just expected them to last a little long than two walks.
ULTRA PAWS COMMENT: THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING FEEDBACK. THE SNOW AND GO BOOTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR LIGHT DUTY SNOW ONLY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND OUR RUGGED BOOTS FOR GOING ON WALKS. THE RUGGED BOOTS HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND THE ABRASIVE SURFACES THAT YOU WOULD LIKELY ENCOUNTER DURING WALKS, SUCH AS SIDEWALKS AND ROADWAYS. Unknown

My dogs love these boots - and so do I
These do the job, Keep iceballs from forming on the feet and keep salt off the paws. They stay on really good. Walking on pavement will wear them down but that is to be expected. They do what they are supposed to. The dogs have no problem with me putting these on.Unknown

Simple - Effective
The Snow and Go boots did exactly what I needed them to - provide simple and effective protection for my dog's paws in the snow and ice. The dog adjusted to them well. They do not provide insulted protection, or slip protection, but they are not advertised to do this. The Ultra Paws website provides other, more expensive options if you need these types of booties.Unknown

Great boot that's actually stays on and is affordable!
We had Ultra Paws Snow & Go boots, but after 2 years they wore out. I thought I would try boots that were "weatherized" or had rubber soles. Big mistake. I ordered, tried and returned 3 other kinds of boots. They didn't stay on, they turned around and one didn't even come close to fitting. I went back to the Snow & Go boots and SUCCESS! The opening seems a bit smaller and it is a bit more difficult to get the boot on but we got it figured out. The boots stay on and and don't turn, you just have to make sure you get the Velcro secure. My dog loves them. We don't get a lot of snow and ice in St. Louis, MO, but enough and these make all the difference for him and me. We also use them in the summer because it does get very hot in STL. He doesn't mind them at all and Mom is a happy camper, no tracking in the house. I won't change again. These might not hold up as long with daily wear, but any holes from claws I just stitch up and they last longer. This is why I didn't give these 5 stars (seems like the toe area could be re-enforced, but even if they don't hold up they are inexpensive enough to buy several pair, which is what I did. Great boot for a a great price
After the first use, my LabX figured out that these things really prevent painful iceballs and he now will lie down and offer his feet for me to put them on. There is a learning curve as far as putting them on but once you have it figured out, they are quick and easy to deal with, and the velcro lets you tighten them snugly enough to keep them from flying off. However, they WILL COME off if your adorably clumsy dog steps on one :-) Great product. Thank you!Pam in KY

Easy on - stay on
I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Snow & Go dog boots have worked for my 10-year old Golden Retriever. The package arrived quickly, and putting them on was pretty easy. So far we have been on two one-mile walks on city streets, sidewalks, a salt-covered parking lot, snow, ice, road salt, and up a snowy hillside. The boots have stayed on. I realize they are not designed for heavy use in these conditions, but they are protecting his paw pads from ice and salt. I measured his foot carefully, and the medium size seems to be a perfect fit for this 90 pound dog.D

No dog boots are perfect, but these are really good!
My 1 year old Blue Heeler has no problem having the boots on his feet! He used to hate the snow but now loves to prance through it with these boots (and it helps keep the salt off his pads). They do have a tendency to fall off his front feet, sometimes several times throughout the walk, but they are easy enough to put back on. Keeps his pads dry and salt-free!Unknown

Needs design improvement
I measured my dog's feet and ordered per the measuring table. The booties were too small.
I re-ordered a Medium and they do fit my dog. It took us 4-5 times of frustrating minutes getting the booties on our dog, Jack. But once done, they allow Jack to stay out for long periods with us snowshoeing. And we both have gotten used to putting them on. I love the idea. But the connecting 2 part velcro is not adequate for keeping the bootie on Jack's feet. I wrap them at tight as I can, and snow gets inside them and ice gums up the hook part of the velcro and they come undone. Jack lost a bootie today that I had to retrace tracks in the woods, 3 ft of snow deep. We are looking for a different design that will keep the bootie on.
Ultra Paws Comments: The Snow & Go boot is a basic boot to prevent snowballs for very light duty use. It's not designed for prolonged periods or deep snow. You'll want to purchase the Durable or Rugged dog boots with the two strap closure system and double foam pads that keep the boots on in deep snow.Unknown

Good product, wrong size
I have small dogs and finding something for their paws has always been a challenge. I like this product in terms of its durability and waterproofing. Living in the Midwest has presented challenges for my dogs since they can only stay out for a short period and one of them loves snow but her paws are always cold and the current boots get too wet with the snow and slush. If this product was made with an extra small version then I'd be go but even after measuring my dogs paw it should have fit and it was still too big. They need one size smaller. Unknown
