As these are our second pair of durable boots...we wore out the first pair, our 13 year old Shih Tzu loves long walks. Many years ago we started with Polar Paws...must have went out of business because during my search online I could not find them again. I found Ultra Paws!!! Purchased the durable paws with an Ultra Paw coat and was as happy with them as the Polars. I found his first pair of Ultra paws were worn out, after a some years of walking. Purchased some awful product from Petco, returned, and went online to get another set of Ultra paws.
Please note if you do not think they will stay on...try again! Our dog does not like them until he is outside and frolicking in the snow. He runs, jumps and tries to go in the deep snow with them because his feet are not freezing. Without the paws he will only go a few feet without raising a cold foot! I might add his Ultra Paws jacket is now a few years old and looks like new!!! Thank you Ultra Paws! Carla Koller

only dog boots to buy
Our dogs love these boots and they always stay on - even in a foot of snow. We've tried other brands but now will only buy these as they are the best - well made and our dogs lie down and roll over for us to put them on - doesn't get any easier than that!Diana

These shoes have been great for my toy poodle. They were the only shoes he accepted\tolerated as a puppy. He had the petite size and he wore them all winter long last year and now that he's 2 years old, although his paw measurement still falls into the petite size, I thought he might need a larger size as he would lick his paw after wearing the petite ones, so I ordered one size larger (x small). They give his paws a lot of room and do look bigger but he looks much more comfortable. He walks and runs in them with no problem. The paw licking also stopped. They are very easy to put on. I was concerned the larger size may not stay on as well as the smallest size but I'm very pleased as they stay on very nicely. Cody

These boots stay on!
I love these boots; however, I can't say the same for my dog....loving them, that is. They serve their purpose keeping gravel and snow from building up between his toes and ice from cutting his paws, but it's clear he doesn't like them. As small as the boots are (petite) he stumbles on his front feet because the boots are still long for him. He's a medium-sized poodle, only 16 pounds. He has to pick up his feet higher which slows him down while walking or running. I tried just putting on the rear boots and he kept up his good, strong pace. So half a benefit is better than no benefit. The boots are new to him. I'll keep trying all four....today especially because there's a heavy snow coming down and a slower pace is OK for now. Ultra Paws Dog Boots
These are the best dog boots we've found for our golden retriever. They're durable, don't fall off, fairly easy to get on, and my dog doesn't mind wearing them. My golden retriever, Gulliver, cannot walk in the snow without them if it's under 12 degrees. Thanks for making a good product.Melanie Ewing

My dog loves them.
I was a little concerned about buying boots for my dog but these seemed to have good reviews. When I first put them on my two year old doodle she seemed really scared of them. They were also a little tough to get on. She also was hesitant and walked really funny . However, after a few times wearing them and one time out side without them proved painful on a real cold night, she jumps right up on the sofa when I take them out. The ultra paws booties allow me to take my dog out for nice long walks even when it's cold. They have never fallen off even when running in deep snow. I used them so much last year they wore out. I'm happy to buy another pair.David Ouellette

Just what I was looking for!!!
I am so happy I found your website for these boots. I find in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada we have such a poor selection available for dog boots. They fit her great and at least I know she will have nice dry feet for the winter. It would be nice if they were lined for extra warmth. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thank-you! Life enhancing product!
These boots made the last couple months of our dog's life so much better. We bought them so she could get up on the hardwood floors and not slide, since she was having problems with her hind legs. She actually liked having them on. She was a 70lb Golden Retriever and we bought the medium size for her. Michelle Farrell
