Fully waterproof with soft fleece lining.
Ideal for wet climates and protection from winter salt and chemicals.
Double-sided wear ability.
Boot top can be cut if too long for your dog.
Move the Velcro® strap up or down to ensure a secure hold.
ULTRA EASY - IMPORTANT TO ADJUST VELCRO CLOSURES PROPERLY:
Slip PawTectors™ on, making sure paw reaches bottom of sheath
It's important that you position the strap in the right spot above the top of the metacarpal or metatarsal pad for a secure hold and attach to the hook on the back, then tighten with a reverse torque for a secure hold.
PawTectors™ are designed to be worn below the carpus, and if too long they should be cut with scissors, otherwise each flex may push them down and off.
Extend PawTectors™ wear-ability with alternate use of the front and back of the Boot.
The soft interior of PawTectors™ will wick out moisture, but dogs sweat through their pads, so remove the boots periodically. Ultra Paws® offers other Boots that are breathable, or for specific wound protection, etc.
Turn inside out, wash in delicate cycle, cold or lukewarm water, and hang upside down to fully dry.
This product truly keeps your pets paws dry in rainy weather. They are light weight and easy to put on & off. The Pawtectors arent meant for long walks, rough terrain in the rain or everyday use. If this is something you are going to do I suggest using the Ultra Durable or Rugged boots.
I own both and for short walks flat terrain for weatherproof boots in the rain you cant beat The Pawtectors as the perfect rain solution Unknown

Heavy hair on dog
I have a Bernese Mt. Dog. Following the measuring guidelines I determined that she needed a large boot. The boot has a tapered neck, so trying to get her hairy paw into the boot was difficult. The hair was pushed in the wrong direction and that seemed to bother the dog. Once the boot was on, the large was the correct size, but trying to get that fat hairy paw through the tapped neck was difficult. Also, the boot fills up with snow when walking in snow over 5 inches and that sort of defeats being waterproof. So, once the boot is on, and we stay out of deep snow the boot performs as advertised.Slapshot

I really don't care for these much, they are so stiff! Maybe for a large dog but not for my little Morkie! Not impressed at allUnknown

Fantastic. Our favourite booties!
We love these booties for our 15 year old lab and have been using them for years. In the beginning it was to protect one paw. She has scar tissue on her front right paw and after trying various other booties we always come back to these. As she's aged, she's developed hip problems and so when we're out walking she "knuckles " which rips the skin on the top of her paws. So now she wears three booties whenever we're out walking. I don't know what we'd do without them. We walk her 2 -3 miles every day (although the distance is much less than she used to be able to travel, she won't be denied) and theses booties last for ages. Other booties are either insubstantial or too heavy for her to lift her back paws. Thank you Ultra Paws!Happy lab owner

Pawtectors for our Greyhound
Tired of wiping 4 dirty paws every time Storm came in the house, we bought her the boots online (medium size works best for her) . They solved the problem of dirty feet but there is a second benefit we hadn't thought of. Storm likes to dig and now she can't! So she wears her boots when ever she is in the yard by herself. They are pretty easy on and off and a set of 4 lasts about 2 years before the have to be replaced.MB

love the boots
We live in North Dakota and we have been purchasing the boots for a couple of years. They work great in all seasons from rain to snow. My dogs paws stay clean. I will keep ordering these boots.Liz Carruth

Good fit and truly waterproof
These boots are exactly what we needed for my dog. The adjustable strap is nice for getting them to stay put without sliding down her foot, a problem we had with other boots. The outer coating is seamless which is a must for waterproof performance. Others have commented that they are too stiff, but my dog had no problems, even running in them on the first wearing.Unknown

Didn't work out.
Although the design and materials of the product are superb, they simply didn't work on my 12lb-Yorkie. The material was great for protection, but because of its 'ruggedness' its rigidity was too much and it cut into the top of the paw at the bend. When I loosened the strap to try and relieve the pressure my dog shook it right off. Overall, I really like the concept just needs some adjustments.
ULTRA PAWS COMMENT: THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK. WE APPRECIATE YOU TAKING THE TIME TO LET US KNOW HOW WE ARE DOING. ALL COMMENTS ARE CONSIDERED WHEN WE ARE WORKING ON OUR NEXT GENERATION OF ANY PRODUCT. FOR YOUR YORKIE, I WOULD CONSIDER THE DURABLE BOOTS WHICH I THINK YOU WILL FIND TO BE MORE FLEXIBLE.Annie

Pawtectors Waterproof Boot
The boot is definitely waterproof in comparison to the other Ultrapaw boots. My only complaint was the single waterproof velcro strap attracts dirt and grass. Unknown

Not ergonomic. Poor design.
I put one of these on my dog and returned them the following day. These are made of a stiff material and are perfectly straight. Imagine putting your feet into a straight pair of socks that are very stiff, with the material folding and digging into your ankle--not comfortable. It is especially worse for smaller dogs. They wouldn't be so bad if they had some kind of bend to them. Go with one of the other designs that put some thought into shaping the boot to a dog's foot. I'm not even sure why they even sell these considering that their other designs are superior.
Ultra Paws Comments: Thank you for taking the time to post your review! Due to the waterproof features of the PawTectors boots, they are more stiff than our other boots. They're ideal for those that really need waterproof protection on those sloppy, slushy, or muddy days. The boots will soften with use, but not every dog will accept the boots. We're working on a new line of waterproof dog boots for smaller dogs - watch our website for information, or send us an email if you'd like to be on our release update!Chris
